Active Family Development Foundation
Active Family Development (AFD) is a nonprofit organization committed to bringing communities together through fun, inclusive, and engaging events for all ages. Our mission is to remove the financial barriers between families, kids, and fun—making it easier for everyone to connect, play, and grow without the burden of cost.
We create safe, welcoming spaces where children and adults can bond through physical activity, laughter, and shared experiences. From family field days and recreational games to social gatherings and community celebrations, every AFD event is designed to foster connection, confidence, and joy.
ALL of our programs are offered completely free, thanks to the support of generous donors and grant funding. We believe that every family deserves access to enriching, active experiences—regardless of income.
